Yakuza Kiwami 2 features its own version of Yakuza 0's Cabaret Club minigame, this time putting Kiryu Kazuma at the helm of taking veteran hostess Yuki's Sotenbori club, Four Shine, to new heights. The gameplay is only marginally different from its Yakuza 0 predecessor, with slight changes made to the interface and a different overarching story and objective.
The goal of Yakuza Kiwami 2's Cabaret Club minigame is to overcome the challenges and take first prize in the illustrious Cabaret Club Grand Prix. Unlike in Yakuza 0, where participating and clearing the Cabaret Club storyline was required to unlock Majima Goro's Mad Dog of Shimano fighting style, participating in Kiwami 2's Cabaret Club is entirely optional. Nevertheless, it's a good way to earn money with engaging micromanagement gameplay that many players will enjoy.

As the player progresses in Kiwami 2's Cabaret Club Grand Prix, they will unlock and recruit additional hostesses after completing certain objectives. The most important of these hostesses are the Platinum tier hostesses, unlocked only after defeating League Champions. Lower tier hostesses (Silver and Bronze) will earn experience exclusively through their performance on a nightly roster. Platinum Hostesses, however, are presented with additional opportunities to earn experience by going on for dinner with Kiryu.
Going on Dates with Platinum Hostesses
Kiryu is given multiple opportunities to engage directly with Platinum hostesses as their level increases, with these dinner dates unlocking at level 10, 20, and 30. The Platinum girls hang out inside Four Shine, and when they've reached the level that a new date has been unlocked, a bubble will appear over their head. Kiryu can speak with the hostess and choose to go on the date. If he refuses, he can visit the girl again whenever he is ready to go out.
Once all three dates with a hostess have been completed, Kiryu unlocks and can undertake a substory for each girl.
The experience the hostess gains during these dates is based solely on Kiryu's responses to their questions. Each question they ask has a technically “correct” answer that will yield the highest amount of appreciation and, ultimately, ensure the most experience gained upon completion of the date.

Getting every answer "right" isn't essential, as maxing out each hostess can be achieved through regular cabaret gameplay.
