The characters and the designs are from the first Extra but the setting is an AU. Although it also seems as though the Moon Cell Holy Grail War may have occurred before the setting of this anime. What makes the show enjoyable instead are look and characters. The art style is very unique and different from other entries in the Fate series. The outlandish visuals complement to the conflicting philosophies of the main cast and its antagonists.
